"Surviving R. Kelly" has been the talk of the internet for the past week. Sadly half the cast can easily be discredited. One in particular, Charlamagne The God. Not saying R. Kelly is not guilty of some accusations; but one would have to be mentally challenged to overlook the many inaccurate accounts being shown to the public. Whatever the agenda for this propaganda, if we are going to hold some "accountable", let's not conveniently overlook others.

17 years after the alleged rape took place, Jessica Reid has come forward with her story in hopes of reopening her case against the rapper. Reid told Hollywood Life that the alleged incident took place in June 2001 at a house party.

“The Breakfast Club” host was arrested in July 2001 for sexual conduct with a minor in the 2nd degree, according to The Blast. The warrant alleged that Charlamagne did “willfully, unlawfully and feloniously engage in penile/vaginal intercourse with a fifteen year old female child.”
Charlamagne pled guilty to a much lesser charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was sentenced to three years probation, and the case was dropped in 2002.
Rape accusations resurfaced against the radio show host when Reid, who was 15 at the time of the alleged incident, attempted to reopen the case earlier this month, Complex reported.
